Union Pacific Corporation Elects Director with Expertise in Cyber Security and Public Policy MattersJane H. Lute

Union Pacific Corporation elected Jane H. Lute, 59, to serve on the Board. Lute most recently served as the CEO of the Center for Internet Security, an international non-profit organization focused on enhancing cyber security readiness and response for the public and private sectors. Lute served as the President and CEO of the Council on Cybersecurity from 2013 to 2015. Prior to this position, she served as the Deputy Secretary for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security from 2009 until 2013.

Colgate-Palmolive’s New Board Member Joins with Expert Healthcare and IT Knowhow 

Colgate-Palmolive announced that C. Martin Harris, 59, CIO and Chairman of the IT Division of The Cleveland Clinic Foundation since 1996, has been elected to Colgate's Board. Dr. Harris is also a Staff Physician for The Cleveland Clinic Hospital and The Cleveland Clinic Foundation Department of General Internal Medicine. Since 2000, he has also served as Executive Director of e-Cleveland Clinic, a series of e-health clinical programs offered over the Internet.

Drew Industries Appoints Tracy Graham to Board of Directors    Tracy Graham    

Drew Industries named Tracy Graham, 42, to the Company's Board of Directors. Graham is CEO and Managing Principal of Graham-Allen Partners, a private investment firm focused on investing in technology and technology-enabled companies. Prior to forming Graham-Allen Partners in 2009, he served as VP of SMB Technology Services for Cincinnati Bell. Graham also successfully built and sold three technology companies over a 12-year period, including GramTel USA, a provider of managed data center and related services to mid-sized businesses, which was sold to Cincinnati Bell. 

Apple CEO Tim Cook Joins Board of RFK Human Rights Organization

Apple CEO Tim Cook, 55, has joined the board of directors of the Robert F. Kennedy Center for Justice and Human Rights, an international organization that advocates for social change. In December 2015, Cook already received the Ripple of Hope Award from the nonprofit organization. But Cook is taking its public involvement for human rights one step further with this new announcement.

Redwood Trust Appoints Former Washington Mutual and GE Insurance CIO to its Board 

Redwood Trust announced that Debora D. Horvath, 61, has joined its Board of Directors. Horvath is Principal of Horvath Consulting, which she founded in 2010. Prior to that, she served as an EVP for JP Morgan Chase and an EVP and CIO for Washington Mutual. In addition, she is a 25 year veteran of General Electric (GE), having served 12 years as a SVP and CIO of the GE insurance businesses. Horvath has also been a Director of StanCorp Financial Group since 2013 and was a director of the Federal Home Loan Bank of Seattle from 2012 to January 2014.

Vitamin Shoppe Adds Former Walgreens Boots CIO to BoardTim Theriault

Vitamin Shoppe added a former Walgreens Boots Alliance CIO to its board of directors in a newly created seat as the specialty vitamin retailer expands its digital efforts. Tim Theriault, who stepped down from Walgreens Boots in June 2015 after six years as the pharmacy retailer’s technology chief, joined Vitamin Shoppe’s board. He still serves as an adviser to Walgreens Boots CEO Stefano Pessina on cybersecurity and other IT issues.

He’s the second tech-focused executive to join Vitamin Shoppe’s board this year. The company in February appointed Guillermo Marmol, who since 2007 has led a consulting firm that provides advisory services and investment capital to early-stage technology companies.
