Union Pacific Corporation Elects Director with Expertise in Cyber Security and Public Policy Matters

Union Pacific Corporation elected Jane H. Lute, 59, to serve on the Board. Lute most recently served as the CEO of the Center for Internet Security, an international non-profit organization focused on enhancing cyber security readiness and response for the public and private sectors. Lute served as the President and CEO of the Council on Cybersecurity from 2013 to 2015. Prior to this position, she served as the Deputy Secretary for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security from 2009 until 2013.

Salesforce Appoints Former European Commissioner to its Board of Directors

Salesforce named Neelie Kroes, 74, a former European Commissioner, to its Board. Kroes is former VP of the European Commission, European Commissioner for Competition, and European Commissioner for Digital Agenda. Kroes is currently Special Envoy for StartupDelta.

Ellen R. Alemany Intends to Resign from Board of ADP    

American banker and former Chairman and CEO of RBS Citizens Financial Group and RBS Americas Ellen R. Alemany, 60, notified the Board of Automatic Data Processing, that she will not stand for re-election as a director of the company at the end of her current term.

Northrop Grumman Names Board Member with Experience in Diverse Consumer Markets         Ann Marie Fudge 

Northrop Grumman elected Ann Marie Fudge, 64, former chairman and CEO of Young & Rubicam Brands at WPP Group, to its board. Prior to Young & Rubicam, she served in various leadership positions at Kraft Foods, including president of Beverages, Desserts and Post Divisions, and president of Maxwell House Coffee and Kraft General Foods. Fudge also held a variety of marketing positions at General Mills. Fudge is a director of Unilever NV and Novartis AG.

Yahoo! Appoints Former Morgan Stanley Exec as Director

Yahoo! appointed Catherine J. Friedman to serve as a director of Yahoo. Friedman held numerous positions over a 23-year investment banking career with Morgan Stanley, including Managing Director and Head of West Coast Healthcare and Co-Head of the Biotechnology Practice, where she was strategic and transaction advisor to many of the most important companies in the sector. Friedman is a director of XenoPort, EnteroMedics, GSV Capital, Innoviva (formerly Theravance), and Radius Health.

VMware Appoints Financial Expert to Board

VMware elected Karen E. Dykstra to the board of directors. Dykstra brings substantial financial expertise to the company's board. She has served on the board of directors of Gartner since 2007 and was CFO of AOL from 2012 to 2015, and a member of the AOL board from 2009 to 2012. From 2006 to 2010, Dykstra was a Partner of Plainfield Asset Management, and served as COO and CFO of Plainfield Direct, and served as a director from 2007 to 2010. Earlier in her career, Dykstra spent over 25 years with ADP, serving most recently as CFO from 2003 to 2006.

Corporate Venture Capital Leader Joins Best Buy Board     Claudia Fan Munce  

Best Buy has appointed corporate venture capital leader Claudia Fan Munce to the Board. Munce is a venture advisor at New Enterprise Associates (NEA). She joined NEA earlier 2016 after spending 30 years at IBM. Most recently, she was a founding member and managing director of IBM Venture Capital Group and a VP of IBM Corporate Development.

CBRE Group Appoints Former Safeco CEO as Board Member        

CBRE Group announced that Paula R. Reynolds, an accomplished senior executive and highly experienced board member, has been appointed to its Board of Directors. Reynolds served as CEO of Safeco Corporation, Fortune 500 property and casualty insurance company, until its acquisition by Liberty Mutual Group in 2008. She then served as Chief Restructuring Officer at AIG, overseeing the divestiture of assets and serving as chief liaison with the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. She currently serves on the Boards of Directors of BP p.l.c., BAE Systems plc and TransCanada Corporation.

Lear Corporation Appoints Facebook Exec as Director        

Lear Corporation announced that Dr.  Mary Lou Jepsen has been appointed to Lear's Board. Presently, Dr. Jepsen is Executive Director of Engineering at Facebook and Head of Display Technologies at Oculus. Previously she was Head of the Display Division at Google X where she led more than one "Moon Shot" program, reported to Sergey Brin, and advised and directed display and consumer electronic programs throughout Google. She is also founder and former CEO of Pixel Qi in Taipei, Taiwan, focused on innovative opto-electronic architectures and the manufacturer thereof.

The Cooper Companies Appoints Colleen E. Jay and William A. Kozy to its Board of Directors     CeCe Morken

Global medical device company The Cooper Companies appointed Colleen E. Jay to its board of directors. Jay is the President of the Beauty Specialty Business at Procter & Gamble since 2015. Prior, Jay led the Global Retail Hair Care and Color division of P&G and the Global Female Beauty division too.

Intuit EVP Joins as Board Member of Genpact

Genpact has appointed CeCe Morken, 58, of Intuit to its Board. Morken serves as EVP and GM of the ProConnect Group at Intuit. In this role, she leads the team responsible for working directly with the accountants who use Proseries, Lacerte, Intuit Tax Online, Canada ProTax, and related solutions to prepare clients' taxes. Before taking this position in 2013, she led Intuit Financial Services, the business unit that provided digital banking solutions for banks and credit unions.
